It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there! more

convenient location, charming B&B 1/6/2010

Charming, nearby Harvard Square, reasonable rates, even during "high season", especially given the area. Staff are friendly, and continental breakfast is hearty enough that you can skip lunch. more

Hotel in Great Area 3/20/2009

If you're looking to stay at a no-fuss, no-muss place in a very old area of Cambridge, this is the place.\r \r This is the perfect place for someone who goes to Boston for the sightseeing and activities first, and the hotel second. It has basic cable channels, a fantastic breakfast, and a real bed and breakfast feel to it.\r \r Great spot (right near Harvard Square) and close to the T. Fantastic! more

Fine - but there are better options 4/28/2006

I have stayed at 4 Boston hotels. The room was a little smaller than most, and I could hear my neighbor's TV. It was quiet outside the window though because you are in a mini-neighborhood that was all just built. Many TV channels were not available, and the blanket was foam - not down (compared to Westin, Marriott, and The Charles). The maid came in room despite "do not disturb sign" while I was sleeping. The neighborhood feels a little dead. The room service menu is extremely overpriced. Some of the nearby restaurants on Mass Ave are kinda scary. Pros: Near MIT, Very Clean, New Cons: Weird Neighborhood, Expensive , Loud Heat / AC more
