TERRIBLE OWNER. She is mean and rude and all she cares about is her paycheck. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. She has no concern for the children whatsoever. She is heartle...

Simply put, Irvine Montessori is a lovely little school. My daughter loves her school. The teachers at Irvine Montessori are professional and ethical individuals. Their passion for teaching is evident in their delivery of style, technique and patience. More importantly, the teachers at Irvine Montessori truly care about the well being of each and every child. more

My Son Is Happy 11/1/2011

As my child approached preschool age, I found myself wishing more and more that I could home-school him. This came more from a concern over public school life than public school academic quality. However, I didn't feel I was outgoing enough to be able to provide him with the social environment he'd need. Irvine Montessori has been the perfect alternative for us. My son is happy, self-confident and progressing academically. more

Great school 10/26/2011

Great school. We put our 3 year old daughter in several months ago and the amount she is learning is fantastic. We were shocked at how great the school really is! She absolutely loves it there and we are glad we made the right choice to enroll her at Irvine Montessori. more

Thank You!! 10/19/2011

My son is in his third year at Irvine Montessori. He started in their toddler class at 18 months and has thrived ever since. He will be in Kindergarten next year and we wouldn't consider another school. I attribute his great concentration and early reading skills to his experience there. Not that it is overly rigorous, but the skills have come naturally to him. Excellent teachers, aesthetically warm Montessori environment, nice family community, we couldn't ask for a better preschool! Thank you. more

Great Care 10/11/2011

As a former preschool teacher I am picky about childcare. This place is the absolute best child development center. The staff really love kids and take care of them. My toddler and preschooler are engaged constantly. It is an amazing place full of hands on activities and loving staff. more

Loving Teachers 10/10/2011

I can not speak highly enough of Irvine Montessori School. I don't think I could dream up something better-and this is coming from someone who has a Montessori background as a child and who also taught at a Montessori school. My children are thriving, and I feel a life long love of learning is being firmly established here. Their minds, bodies and spirits are nurtured with healthy snacks, the brilliant Montessori material, and most of all-the devoted, loving teachers. more

Daughter Loves It 10/4/2011

My daughter attends Irvine Montessori and LOVES IT. It's a very clean, bright and happy place. The staff is very understanding and helpful. The kids are happy. The teachers also understand that working parents have crazy schedules.The kids work on academics and lot of fun projects. I would highly recommend it. more

The Right Place 9/29/2011

We started my son at Irvine and from the very first day I knew we had chosen the right place. I had a few behavior issues with my son and was not sure if it was terrible twos or something more. He was prone to have the most obnoxious tantrums and fits. My son had a lot of anxiety of starting school and being away from his comfort zone and me. Irvine has the separation do's and don'ts down pat....Irvine Montessori made the transition east for my son. The academics portion was an important reason we pick Irvine over some of the other day-schools. I am proud to say that in the past 3 years my son is now well behaved and more advanced in school. more

Our son is on his third year at Irvine Montessori. He really loves his school!! Much credit goes to teacher and the staff for creating a community feel where children enjoy learning and see themselves as active contributors in the classroom. I was unfamiliar with Montessori before this experience, but I can tell the self-paced curriculum encourages initiative and internal satisfaction from a job well done, no matter the level of the child. Our son was invited to attend the most popular g/t programs in town (tempting decisions...), but we decided to stick with Irvine because he has been so happy and has made amazing progress since he's started. Mary is very accessible and dedicated to the making Irvine even better. more

Wonderful Location 9/9/2011

Fantastic preschool and child care both of my children have attended this wonderful school for the past four years and I cannot imagine a better place for them to be. The ratios are the best you will find in town, all lead teachers have degrees and the learning is play based and very effective. My children love Irvine Montessori! And perhaps the best kept secret is how the staff work to give a caring devotion to each student. Wonderful Location too. more

Fabulous Irvine Montessori, We are so grateful and happy that we found Irvine Montessori for our son. The teachers are devoted to the kids, careful in their teaching, fun-loving and creative in leading activities that are tons of fun, active, sensory based, and full of learning opportunities. All of the staff knows our son, not just his teachers which testifies to what a close-knit community it is and the loving environment it provides. And the director does an amazing job of communicating with parents and building a real sense on community. more

Great Place for my Kids 9/8/2011

Truly a Special Place. We have been part of the Irvine Montessori family for 4 years, and our girls have absolutely loved their time there. Our older child, now in kindergarten, comes back to pick up her sister in the afternoons and I think the greatest testament to the fabulous teachers is how much they still care about her and want to know what she is doing and whether she is happy in her new school. Small enough that all of the teachers know every child, whether in their class or not, within a week of their start. They are nurturing, focus a great deal on sensory experience and art and music, and have a fabulous playground that is much, much more than a playscape. more

Well rounded education 8/2/2011

I feel that my daughter has prospered under the tutelage of the Montessori school in Irvine. She has even been exposed to learning foreign language but she especially like the arts and craft and music implemented in her curriculum. I would definitely recommend this school for a well rounded education exposure. more

Commend ethical and moral practices 8/1/2011

This is an excellent school for children. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional who truly care about the children. The staff look out for the children closely that in the event that they find out that a child is not feeling well, they take swift action to notify the parent and advise him/her to take his/her child home. I commend the ethical and moral practices of the staff of this school and these qualities should attract any parent into sending their children here. more
