I've lived at Iroquois Green for a couple of months now and I must admit that I'm ready for my lease to be up! If I breaking my lease wouldn't negatively affect my credit I would definitely break it! There are a lot of inconsiderate, ""hard of hearing""elderly people who reside at this complex. They blasts their tv' s that you can hear them over your own, literally. The person that lives above me walks so hard that it literally sounds like they're marching, deliberately stomping or like heavy bricks or bowling balls are being dropped. I understand that the building is very old and the material may be thin but it's frustrating to wake to, be awakened by and be unable to sleep because of the stomping and loud tv' s. I went to the management about the issue but I was told, ""they walk a little hard, there's really nothing I can do about that"" but clearly it's much more than just walking a little hard! Then she suggested that I do something to drown out the disturbances! But what can I do if it's 2 o'clock in the morning and I'm trying to sleep?! I'm sitting here listening to the stomping and my and their TV as I type this review! I'm tired of complaining and nothing changing, which is why i figured I'd write a review for others to see. There's camera's in the complex but what I don't understand is why the camera's are only in the front of the building and inside the hall ways but not on the sides of building where there's extra parking. In addition to this, there's some pro's like the fact that the neighborhood itself is nice and quiet. There's also a monthly bulletin that's sent out containing useful information. They are OK when it comes to maintenance requests, they get it done though it takes a little while sometimes. They're also affordable. There's a lot of closet space. But the kitchen counter space is very limited. Also I didn't get new carpet prior to moving in, even thought there were noticeable stains and it was raged around the bases of the walls when they called themselves trimming it. Therefore I don't even think it was shampooed for that, I ended up shampooing it myself because of that! I'm not trying to discourage anyone from living here, I just wanted to let others know what type of experience I'm currently having and what they may be in for if they do move here. Hope it was helpful if you are considering living here :)
