Iron Hill Brewery 5/1/2006

Iron Hill Brewery is a decent brewpub with several locations in the Delaware area. This large, two-story restaurant and bar is located on the Riverfront and gets a good deal of business from the city and adjacent outlet mall. Prices here are a bit high, but the food, atmosphere, and beer are all reliably good. Don't expect huge portions, but you should be able to rely on an interesting seasonal/specialty brew on tap. My wife and I enjoy getting the Southwestern egg rolls, and she raves about their pizza. more

The Iron Hill Brewery is a really great microbrewery in Delaware--they have a few different locations, all of which serve their great beer, as well as a variety of tasty food. I'm a big fan of their pizzas, as well as the burgers on the menu. Compared to some other places serving the same kinds of food, they do tend to be priced a little bit higher--but the food is really tasty, and I've always thought it's worth the money. more

Wonderful microbrew, but a bit expensive 2/5/2006

Iron Hill, located conveniently on the Riverwalk of Wilmington and in close proximity to the city's outlet shopping, is a great local brewery and restaurant. The ambiance is upscale casual, and prices are a bit high for the portions you get. Their beer selection is good; I'd suggest a flight to try all the available selections on tap. I also recommend the southwestern egg rolls withe avocado cream sauce. There's plenty of parking here, and the crowd is much older than the Newark IH. more

Great food and beer 1/16/2006

What a great restaurant, lots of seating both indoor and outdoor, when the weather is nice. ( and for smokers since Delaware doesnt allow smoking inside) They are located right on the watrerfront of the Christina river. The food here is excellent, there is standard burgers and sandwiches, and some more agreesive dishes and flavors availible some incorporating the home brew. Which brings me to the star of the review, Iron Hill produces some very good beers, the staff is knowledgable so if you tell them what you are looking for in a beer, they can reccommend a nice brew for you, or something to accompany your meal. A great spot to visit, with reasonable prices. more
