The New Menu is Amazing! 8/23/2008

I am so impressed with the new menu. They must have gotten a new chef, because I ate there two nights in a row and no one in my party had a bad meal! The Hefeweizen is awesome :) Pros: Awesome Food, Great Micro bew, Great location Cons: Bar area could be larger more

Good food and atmosphere for a late Monday night dinner. 7/22/2008

I had dinner with my sister and her husband on Monday night around 8 PM. The place was not crowded and we had any seat we wanted. They state that during the week you normally don't need reservations. We ordered the lasagna, ribs, and crab cake dinners. Each entree was very good with no complaints and the cost of each was between $15-$20 which seemed reasonable to me. We also ordered the beer sampler. This consists of about 12 - 4 ounce ""shots"" of the microbrews on tap. The waiter (Joe) was very helpful in describing each sample to us and it was pretty neat to sample each beer and compare notes. Pros: Food, microbrewery, atmosphere more

over priced over crowded and I'm over it 8/27/2007

For the same money I could go to the 7 stars inn and have a memorable dining experience . Just add 50$ to your bill at applebees or TGIFridays and there you have it . They are so proud of the micro brew they wont even carry a Coores light or Michelobe for the guests that don't like bitter sour beer and on top of all this it is such a yuppie hang out that it clogs bridge street and takes up all the parking . Totally generic at best nothing outstanding except the people out standing in line to get in . Pros: it's close to home Cons: everything else more

I expected more for what you pay. 6/8/2007

We went to Iron Hill in Phoenixville about a month a go. I believe on a Tuesday. The atmosphere was nice, The people were nice, the service could have been better. The beer is great, it's neat how they brew their own beer, but I am not impressed with the quality of the food. For their prices, I expected a little bit more than what I got. I think I paid around 10 dollars for a burger and fries, and I think I could have went to Mcdonolds and got a bigger burger from the dollar menu. Not impressed. Pros: atmosphere is nice, very clean. Cons: Food quality below average for what you pay for. more

Love It 3/23/2007

Everything I've ever ordered at this place has been amazing, the sweetpotato fries, the beers (raspberry wheat), the cheesesteak eggrolls, the pulled pork sandwhich, and my favorite the bread pudding.(it was a special not avail. all the time) I eat out alot with my 8 year old son and we both love this place, it is family friendly and the customer service is great, I am still in a good mood even if I have to wait, because I'm treated well. I would recommend going on a week night since weekends are nuts (2hr. wait call ahead 1st) they have a small sitting area to wait, or you wait at the bar(I can't with an 8yr old), so if you plan to wait be prepared to be crowded. Also the parking is across the street, and a little shifty... It doesn't keep me away, Phoenixville is so charming it's nice to go west instead of the city. Pros: service, food, beer Cons: parking, wait time (weekend only) more
