I may be biased, since I used to frequent the store in the 1960's~quite frequently. I'm happy to hear that Mr. Roche is still there and doing well. I still have all the goodies I bought way back when, Irish music/records, clothing, etc... the only things that have long been gone are to foods! I haven't lived in SF for years, but often thought about the little store and Mr. Roche. I hope he continues to prosper! D. Hughes more

Irish Food, Clothing, Music . . . Your Fix Here! 12/24/2005

Irish Imports and its proprietor, Louis Roche, have been an institution on Geary Blvd near Parker Ave for years. The shop is small but efficiently filled with all things Irish: from jewelry, t-shirts, music to candy bars, bake mixes and Irish puddings and sausages. Louis' friendly and warm demeanor always welcomes you in! My friends and relatives are always popping in for some Smarties or Crunchies, as well as Odlum's for baking and Irish sausages for the breakkie! A great place for that taste of home! more

Import Irish 10/22/2005

Kind of a unique store. They are not just travel agents here, they have a whole collection of irish imports. They have many edible foods and souvenirs from Ireland. Kind of bumped into this store by strolling by and stopping in. I'm glad I did. I've been going here for their Turkish Delight which is a raspberry chocolate bar and they Gummy Candies. They are just great. I can't say I know much of their travel service because I never had to use it. But I do love their imported food. more
