Bad Service, make that horrible service more

My family & I were driving around in Alpharetta and found this great italian restaurant in the Kroger Shopping center on Windward Parkway. The rolls and the chicken picatta were amazing. Our kids loved the pizza! Our server was very knowledgeable and\r made us feel very welcomed. The General Manager was very professional when she approached our\r table making sure that we were completely satisfied with our experience.\r You could tell that she and her staff worked well together in making sure that everything was being done\r for the customers dining there that night. The GM even brought over crayons & coloring sheets for our \r kids. We are definitely going back! Great prices! Finally a restaurant where management cares about their customers! I just moved to Alpharetta and my husband and I have been looking for an Italian restaurant to take the kids to on the weekend. We had a great experience at Ippolito's and I would highly recommend it. We were seated quickly, had great service and amazing food. They have the best rolls! I have to say that Ippolitos has one of the best pizzas in town. However, my experience dining at the restaurant got totally ruined by one the managers of the restaurant (A lady in the Alpharetta location). She was really rude to our kids and passed by the table to make some sarcastic comments about how talkative they were with some of the people from the table next to us, she did not allow the ser ver to change the type of pasta for one of the plates we ordered, and she treated her personnel in a very rude manner in front of the customers. On top of that, one of our kids who is two years old walked in direction to the office and she screamed at me and commanded me in front of my husband and other customers to take my child and made him stay at the table. The server who was really nice apologize for the conduct of the manager, but we decided it is more important for us to go to a place where managers treat their customers and personnel with respect. Pros: Good Pizza, Friendly Servers Cons: Horrible Manager (I could not get her name, a lady in the Alpharetta Location). She demonstrated it is not a family-style restaurant for her behavior toward the kids in our table more

I love this place. Authentic Italian village cooking. I eat every bite. Very nice dining rooms, some are dimmly lit, how romantic and relaxing. I love the food and am glad that this CT couple have been doing business for years here in GA. I wish i found them sooner. I highly recommend. I am originally from the Boston area. I feel like i am at home here at Ippolitos. Pros: The Food, The Lighting, The Service more
