I would avoid Investors Service Company at all cost. They operate with little regard for their customer’s financial interest. Ownership and management are very unprofessional and possess little integrity. We found out this hard way as they ran up our cots on all fronts…Investors Service Company are very reactionary in nature and not proactive at all. This results in wasted money all of it out of the investors pocket. When a problem occurred, and they did often with them - there was no mechanism in place to resolve these issues. Ownership refused to return phone calls, or emails..so problems just added up and we felt helpless. Some issues included:\r
\r
• Lack of oversight of investor assets….Rehabs take months and there is no accurate updates provided. Cost estimates were very wrong. Once they got paid they ignored you. Our concerns were not addressed seriously. Often we got the run around of misinformation for what seamed of no other purpose than to waste our time and money. It was not a pleasant experience. \r
\r
• Poor bookkeeping and invoicing. Mistakes were prevalent and always at all the cost of the investor.\r
\r
• Property management that is not designed to effectively market and manage property and deliver investor return but IS designed as an available source of revenue for Investors Service Company to bill invoices indiscriminately with no authorization by the investor…\r
\r
In a nutshell…. I would avoid this company at all costs…believe me when I say they have cost us a lot of hard earned money.\r
