Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital

I have taken my dogs to IGH Vet Hospital for ten years, although it is quite a few miles from my home, because you just cannot find better caring treatment for your pet. When I bought my first French bulldog the breeder wouldn't even sell him to me unless I went to IGH and I soon found out why! They have a beautiful facility, nine doctors, a huge caring staff, all the latest equipment and procedures, and a true love for animals. They always go the extra mile in every way, far beyond the minimum you would expect. I am a perfectionist, impossible-to-please person, but I have never had a single complaint about this clinic!! I've been taking my pets to the IGH Animal Hospital for 22 years and would never go anywhere else. I've probably met every vet here and they are all wonderful, but Dr. Valenti is especially great. My dog has had several health problems, including a fairly rare condition, over her 11 years and the doctors here are superb. I truly believe she would not be alive had I gone to any other animal hospital. They've stayed open late when I've needed to rush my dog in 15 minutes before closing. They are very caring and gentle with the animals and show a genuine interest in each one. They give you the various options for care, explaining each one in detail including the pros and cons. They are creative in coming up with real solutions that will work for you and your pet. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone. more

I was devastated when my puppy broke her elbow at only 4 months.I didn't know where to take her one of my friends suggested to bring her to Inver Grove Animal Hospital she said they were great. So I did, not knowing what i was in for. Millie has now had to 3 surgeries on the elbow. Not only are the doctors great, the staff as a whole has been phenomenal!!! They are a great team and put 100% into the animals that visit. Dr. Rassmussen is a great surgeon she has taken Millie in under her wing! I really appreciate all they have done for her, they go above and beyond the call of duty. Millie enjoys visiting so much that she decided she wanted to break another bone just so she could see everyone. When we walk in there she is welcomed with open arms. We love them its a great place to take your pet!!! more

Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital is second to none! The entire staff is amazing. Dr. Ann Valenti has not only cared for our German Shepherds, but has taken care of us as well. She is so gentle with the animals and truly cares about animals and their owners. There have been many times we had emergencies with one of our dogs and the staff has always been kind, helpful and understanding. The entire staff here is tremendously helpful and caring. Dr. Ann Valenti is an incredible Dr. who takes the time to talk to you and listen to your concerns, and follows up with you about and beyond your expectations. She truly cares about the animals.you can get your animal in easily during a crisis, and they are quick to refer you to specialists if the situation is beyond their expertise. The Inver Grove Heights Animal Clinic was originally recommended to me by other pug owners, many who drive a very long way to see these Dr.'s--- I understand why. Especially with the complicated breathing issues of pugs, bulldogs, french bulldogs, etc. these Dr.'s are the best. They own the same breeds, and although they treat all breeds excellently-- they have a real specialty for the breathing compromised breeds. more

The best place for all the health care need for pets, and emotional support pet parent needs. I received excellent services for more than eighteen years. Dr. Winsor is a doctor who cares about pets and the pet parents. Dr. Winsor is a greatest doctor and honest person. He will never talk to you into the treatment pets don't need. He is the doctor all the animals in this earth need. It is sad that we, human don't get that kind of care, at the human clinic. My two shih tzu and I are so lucky to have Dr.Winsor as our doctor. more

I have two large dogs who have had all of thier vet care here - including one neuter, one heartworm treatment, and one reoccurring ear infection. Everyone here really cares about animals, and will take the time to answer your questions. Very helpful on the phone as well. I recommend this vet. more
