After seeing a couple of shows at Intiman last year, we decided to become members. The Intiman has a special program for students and people under 25 which makes theater membership a SUPER deal. The theater is intimate, the shows are interesting, with a mixture of contemporary and classic pieces, and a current cycle of American Master works, the Intiman is a great theater. Their season is especially well suited to 20-something theater goers, and I highly recommend it.
For east-coasters who like to follow proper theater ettiquette, they even have a special matinee performance one sunday of the cycle where patrons can't eat or drink in the theater. Yes, that means that you can eat and drink in the theater the rest of the time. That concept is completely mind boggling to me as an east coaster (especially in such a small theater) but what can do you expect in Seattle.
