Great Indian Vegetarian Food 1/30/2009

Govinda's has very very good vegetarian food. The only con I can think of is that some people might think that their selection is limited, but I am always full by the time I leave. Also, it is vegetarian/vegan, but I think that is a pro instead of anything negative. The staff is friendly and the food is wonderful. Pros: Food Cons: kind of a small place, so might not be great for a large group. But the people are very kind and would do everything to accomodate. more

Govinda""s has good vegetarian Indian style food. I have been to Govinda's several times for lunch\r and my wife and I enjoyed it. \r I am doing this review because all denversurfer's reviews have been totally negative. \r more

Not So Good 11/27/2008

We went there for Thanksgiving. The food was bland, it was expensive, and none of the buffet items were labeled, so don't know what you're getting. How stupid.\r \r We ended up throwing away a lot of food because we couldn't identify it. The salad was nothing great, either. Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: Paper plates, expensive, food items not labeled. more

Best Veggie & Vegan preps 5/26/2008

I was there a couple of weeks ago.I was nicely surprised.The food was excellent,specially the curry preps.\r Very good salad bar,very friendly staff,and all for under $ 10.00\r I will definetely go back on my next visit to Denver and take my friends with me. Indian food just like mom used to make 5/3/2007

Govindas is a great vegetarian restaurant, but its not for everyone, its part of the hari krisna temple and that might bother some people. its buffet style so there are lots of choices, the salad bar is the best and keeps me coming back over and over again. I like that I never know what is going to be on the menu until i get there. Pros: great salad bar more
