Been going here for years! 3/4/2011

My first experience at International Market was back in Middle School and I have been going back ever since..I'm almost 30! I love the food and I love the wonderful family that runs and owns the restaurant. When I lived closer, I would go at least once a week but now I go once or twice a month. The food is fresh and they are constantly making it throughout the day. I love the broccoli noodle, the chow mein and the mushroom chicken. Everything is wonderful and there is so much to choose from that there is sure to be something for everyone! Oh and it's buffet style where you go down the line and tell them what you want. So you get to see everything and what it looks like. If you are looking for real thai food, you must try International Market! more

Very Friendly and Great Food 5/29/2009

If you're down with the squid, just call ahead or let them know and they'll make it for you special. Squid with bamboo, basil and the curry broth. They can make it pretty hot if you like. I go here once a week and it never gets old. After Salathai closed down, this became my goto place for good thai food. Actually, I'm about to place on order with them now....hold on! Having just returned from Thailand less than two weeks before I ate here I can tell you this is the real deal. I fell in love with Thai cooking while there and have been looking for some authentic Thai since I returned. Pros: Great AUTHENTIC Thai food. Great price. Cons: It's in a grocery store. more

Excellent fresh, home cooked food with lots of vegetables 9/14/2008

International Market is one of my favorite restaurants; I eat there a couple of times a week. I can get an excellent lunch for about $6. The food is consistenly good, and there is a very nice selection. It is hard to get good vegetables at many restaurants, but International Market has a wide selection of fresh cooked vegetables. Locals Only 5/17/2008

My father has been going there since it opened. He took me for the first time when I was 4 and I have gotten the exact same thing ever since. The people are so friendly, it's in a hip neighborhood and the food is good and cheap. The spicy chicken sticks, vegetable egg rolls, fried rice, and bamboo shoots with chicken curry is the most amazing combo ever. And throw in a big bottle of papaya juice. It's the bomb. It's not that good. 3/6/2008

I had been there many times before I stopped eating there. Everything seems to be made way long ago. They are all too sweet. Surely they have been sitting there for hours too. You can see from the edges of each tray. Nasty food.... don't recommend.... This place is still alive because it's located close to a university and everything is cheap. You guys better pay a little bit more for better food. more

Definitly lacking. 8/21/2007

It had been years since I ate here, but I remembered it being really good, so I decided to try it again. I had read both bad and good reviews on it and decided to see for myself. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I remembered. In fact, the food looked gross. I had a hard time choosing anything because it looked like it had been sitting there for a long time. It wasn't horrible, but it definitly wasn't great. I got Sweet and Sour chicken and the sauce was so gooey and gross that I had a line of goo from the plate to my mouth. However, let me say that the Fried rice and egg rolls were really good, especially the fried rice! I would go there again, but only for the fried rice and egg rolls, definitly nothing else. Pros: No wait, great fried rice, and egg rolls. Cons: Bad food, 25 cents extra for drink refills, parking. more

Cheap but B-A-D!! Worst Asian food I've ever had. 10/22/2006

I chose this restaurant only because it had such a high rating - 9.5!! It turned out to be the worst Asian food I have ever experienced. The chow fun was soggy. Way too much sugar in every dish. The silver noodle dish had an odd taste, combination of sugar and vinegar. Yes it's cheap alright, but B-A-D. Pros: Not crowded (I wonder why??) Cons: Lousy food, no ambience more

GOING DOWNHILL 7/23/2003

My family has been going there over 15 years and in the last 3 years, the quality seems to have really gone down. It is still a good place to get something to go quickly and reasonable. However, we don't go as often because of the quality of food. more

Overcharging 9/18/2002

I have enjoyed eating here for years and while the food is very good, you have to watch the little old man because he tries to overcharge you every single time. In my experience, it has only been him but watch the cashier just in case more
