International Kitchen & Bath

My experience with International Kitchen goes back to 2009, when they finished. Overall, in terms of a project start, design, and planning, it was great to get input on possible enhancements and improvements to my design. They spent time with me in terms of what I was working for. I was available to watch over the entire progress from demolition, which there was a little of, to using the various subcontractors. I think the entire project was 8-9 months, with 4.5 months of actual construction. Observing them gave me a certain comfort level. The people they sent were great to work with and answered the questions I had. Overall, the outcome was better than I expected, and that's about the best compliment I could give. With projects like this, I sometimes find myself expecting things to to wrong, but with International Kitchen, they didn't. more

Overall, it was a good experience with International Kitchen. We had the luxury of being home so we could see what was going on and talk to the people doing work if we had questions. One of the things we really appreciated were a couple of people we had an opportunity to work with. We appreciated the designer, whom we believe does not work for the company anymore, and she was willing to help us with decisions like tile selections and things like that. When we interviewed contractors and design build firms, I didn't get the impression that they all did that. She really helped us through all the steps. The person who was primarily responsible for the interior parts of the re-design did a really good job. He did things I wouldn't have thought would get done. It was an overall good experience in that sense. Overall, they have responded to things that we have pointed out. They took care of them all, even after the project was done, without grumbling. It was no problem. I think with jobs like this, there's always room for improvements, which is why I gave high 4's instead of 5's. Overall, we've had a very positive experience!! more
