International Discount Golf

I will never shop at this store again, I walk in and all I heard was the owner yelling at his employees, How do I know who is the owner cause I have been shopping at this store for sometime now and I have become friends with some of the people who work there. This store use to be friendly and fun to shop at but this time it was horrible. I felt so bad for the lady who was getting cursed at and yelled out. If I was her I would sue!\r Poor employees at this store. \r Never again will I shop here and If I was you, I wouldn't either. Don't support a place where they don't treat there employees right!!!! more

Friendly honest staff. No up selling. They care for you as customer not your wallet. Stay away from corporate chains. If u want the best price and knowlegeable staff come to Golf International. They have the best prices HANDS DOWN. Dale the sales rep will hook u up. I bought my first set of clubs here after checking prices at other stores. Other places told me I should have my clubs custom fit!!! I'm just starting out, I don't need anything custom, I need a golf swing! Golf International were very caring and supportive.(Roger Dunn got kids working there who know zilch. Golfsmith, big chain, wallet hounds). i was on my way to golfsmith to buy a putter with my 15% new membership coupon when i decided to stop by IDG. that was the best thing i ever did. i checked out their putters and Jim was very informative about all of the putters there. i spent about an hour checking out different putters and finally decided on the taylor made itsy bitsy spider. golfsmith was selling it for $200 but i was going to use the 15% off coupon there so that it would be $170. IDG was selling theirs for $179 but Jim and Dale were up front and told me that the coupon exluded all major brands including taylor made. i checked the fine print and they were right! Jim also took the time to show my girlfriend some womens clubs and gave her some tips at the driving net that they had. i even got to demo a driver from them! you can't beat the customer service anywhere. i'll be getting all my golf toys from there. Pros: customer service, excellent selection, they have just about everything, service!!! Cons: none at all more

They spend as much time with you and give you as much information as you need. They are honest and helpful and I would not consider going anywhere else for my golf needs. Pros: Customer Service Cons: Only Two Locations more

This is a major find. I have never shopped for any sports equipment before where I felt so comfortable. Everyone there is kind, polite, knowledgable and a lot of fun. The first time you enter the store, they greet you with smiles that actually last the whole time you're there. All questions were answered quickly and honestly. Their selection is awesome. They even have a lot of choices for women golfers!! They carry all the major brands of equipment, accessories, clothing and shoes. Even kids golf stuff. Another great thing they have is incredible pricing. They wont tell you pricing on the phone but trust me, they are well worth going there and seeing for yourself. You gotta go. more

This is one of those ""wonders"" you wish you could stumble into, in a world of big, corporate golf stores like Golfsmith, dotted with the occasional unfriendly Roger Dunn location, and punctuated with terrible general-purpose sporting-goods stores and high-priced golf Pro Shops. International Golf is the best of all worlds -- it's a comprehensive golf-only shop, with knowledgeable employees AND competitive prices. It's not huge like a Roger Dunn type of place, but I challenge you to find something missing from their selection. And every single one of their employees is friendly AND a golfer. What a gem. I live right around the corner from International Discount Golf. I have always passed by assuming to myself they have a small selection and are high priced. Boy was I wrong. I just got back into golf after about a 10 year absence. I settled on the Cleveland CG4 irons. They were $100 less at IDG. Not to mention the people are wonderful. I love this place. Next on my list are a driver and woods. You will not go wrong here. Excellent service, huge collection, and all around one of the best shopping experiences of my life. I took up golf about 4 years ago and I have been to a number of Golf store and Pro shop's at courses, But I need to say The help at IDG is the most helpful people I have ever come across. There is a Lady there by the name of Joey (I think), she knows what she is talking about and Always has a smile on her face...The satff is great and you can't beat the price's..... The staff at IDG is great!! They are super knowledgeable and super friendly!! The prices are very good as well. They have an in-store putting green and driving range here to test out whatever you want. This is the ""Cheers"" of golf shops and if you are lucky, you might catch Big Al singing some karaoke on the putting green in the store. Pros: Great Prices, Great Service more
