While there are a couple of good employees, our experience with Interim Home Health Care aides in general has not been good. Not showing up, failing to call. Being contracted to perform a task (bathing a sick, disabled person) and then ""faking"" the job (splashing water around, not even a wet wash cloth), contracted for 2 hrs, staying for 30 minutes. My dad is at an assisted living & an employee there even caught one of the worst aids going through his wallet. Etc, etc. Calling the office is useless - the main ""scheduler"" is rude & patronizing, as if ""How dare you complain!"" If you are upset, she will lecture you on how *she* is remaining calm, as if you are a little child. She does not report problems to the home care supervisor (who is very sweet, helpful & professional. After numerous infections from not being bathed properly & failed attempts at resolution, we are switching to another company.
