One of the most comfortable places that I have ever encountered. They really should take a little good care of their rooms though, some of them are already rotten. more

Not a fan 7/21/2009

I was not a huge fan of this place!!!! The rooms are nice but they should have a better feel for how much I spend. Pros: Nice but bad location and no local feel Cons: many more

Great 5/11/2009

Really nice and clean a great place for a wedding, baby shower, party, anniversary. I really enjoyed my stay this is a very busy hotel though lots of traffic. If you don't mind the traffic the stay is well worth it. Pros: Great Staff Cons: Too busy on the weekends more

Beautiful Rooms/Sketchy Customer Service 3/30/2009

Rooms are fabulous - affordable luxury! Customer service was poor - fair. Check-in was extremely lengthy and staff were unapologetic. I was charged for mysterious Bar bills. When I went to check-out and challenge the charges, the staff member left the counter to ""check on the bill"" and when he returned he stated, ""I will remove the charges for now..."" seemingly accusing me of the bar tab - yet he was unable to produce a signed receipt. As repeat visitors to this hotel, my husband and I are uncertain we will try this location again. Pros: comfortable stay Cons: customer service lacking more

Best massage in Atlanta 3/10/2009

the massage is always exactly what is needed and the therapist is knowledgeable, professional and appropriately friendly. If you are a regular, I find the entire staff to be warm, professional and sensitive to the client's needs. more

Amazing Massage 2/23/2009

I've only had a few professional massages in my life, I wasn't that impressed with other places I've been. I first planned it for my girlfriend for our anniversary, but she talked me into getting one also. All I can say is Wow! The pressure was perfect and I loved how they moved with your breath. I've never felt so relaxed in my life. Also, the last few times I had a massage, I felt oily afterward and like perfume. Not here. I think that was part of the reason why I was so skeptical. Anyway, even if you're a guys guy (you know what I mean) you have to try this place. Ask for Danielle. Pros: Very impressive Cons: A little more expensive than the chain places, but you definitely get what you pay for. more

BEST value for my $Money$!!! Staff warm & Friendly... 2/23/2009

Look! Do yourself a huge favor and give this spa a try! They took good care of me and my associates. From the moment I stepped off the elevators, I was greeted by the aroma therapy oils that they had burning and a nicely polished marble floor that led the way. Instantly I knew this was gonna be a wonderful experience. I was not disappointed either! The front desk attendant welcomed w/ a smile and after filling out a brief profile sheet, showed us to the locker rooms to change. I was a bit disappointed to discover they didn't have a steamroom or sauna, but the area was neat and clean and felt like a luxury environment. One minus, their slippers were small and a bit uncomfortable. The robes were very comfortable and plush.\r We waited in their private relaxation room and fixed some hot brewed Green Tea as they put a pretty kewl warm neck pillow on our shoulders and around our neck. Shortly, our therapists greeted us warmly with a smile - on time! and led us back to the treatment suites. If you like something larger or grand, this is not it. They are an exclusive, intimate and detail oriented place. My session was great! The therapist really took care of me and made me feel wonderful. They listened to my needs and worked hard to meet my every expectation. It was also neat to learn that they like to use and promote all organic, all natural skincare products in their treatments. The staff is the friendliest and most knowledgeable bunch I have encountered in a while. I have traveled alot and been to many spas and have experienced a host of different spa experiences and this one definitely does all it needs to with what it has to make their guests feel taken care of, in every way. They don't have an online website w/ their services, but all in all it was a fantastic day away from the crazy outside world! \r Oh, Parking is included and you can even stay parked in their deck and walk to a number of resturaunts or bars in the area once you're done. Shopping Malls are closeby. Pros: Products are all-naturall, Organic, Staff is knowledgeable/accomodating Cons: No steam or sauna, should have website for services more

Best Massage! 2/5/2009

This place probably has the best massage therapist in town. I travel a lot on business and have had my fair share of massages.....Jimmy blew everyone out of the water! The facility itself was not that great, there is no sauna and the locker rooms didn't have many amenities, but if your looking for a great massage where the staff is really friendly, then that is the place to go! Pros: Therapist Cons: A little expensive considering there the facility more

Great facial but a bruising massage 12/19/2008

I visited this spa in May 2008 and booked a facial for me and a couples massage for my husband and myself. I'm a very regular spa goer (usually at least monthly) and have experienced the highs and lows in various spas in a few different states. In this case the facial was so awesome; my skin felt nourished and balanced and was baby soft. I have a fabulous aesthetician back home in FL and I don't normally let anyone else touch my skin, but this facial was right up there with hers and I would recommend it to anyone. I also liked all of the products used throughout my spa visit and appreciated the freedom to choose which aromas would be incorporated in my services; I even purchased a couple items at the end of the day. My husband really enjoyed his massage, however, that is where my glowing review ends. \r My massage turned out to be disastrous. I don't mind feeling muscle soreness (like after a good workout-that is kind of the point afterall) but this guy wrecked my back. By the same night my husband pointed out that my lower back was covered with horrible bruises and that finally explained why it was painful when anything touched it. It looked like someone had kidney punched me several times and it made my 5.5 hour ride home and subsequent days of healing pretty miserable. It is a shame b/c my therapist seemed like a really nice guy with a great personality and I enjoyed our chat during the treatment, but I'll definitely request to have someone else if I ever build up the courage to get a massage there again-Yikes! Pros: You almost don't want to wash the products off your skin you smell so great afterward! Cons: It's a roll of the dice whether your massage is relaxing or excruciatingly painful. more

What a fun place for a weekend retreat 12/13/2008

The ICH of Buckhead is a fun place to spend a weekend in town. The rooms are clean and well-furnished and the service is impeccable. I've sent out of town guests there and all have been pleased. There is a jazz band in the lobby bar at times which adds to the easy-going ambiance. more

Fancy, Expensive and not worth it 7/2/2008

We were very disappointed with Jurlique. This nationally known chain, in the intercontinental hotel had so much potential, but the people are rude. I had a swedish massage and a facial which were extremely disappointing. I could hear people arguing right outside the door. Cons: Expensive more

Stay Away 6/6/2008

I went to Jurlique with my wife because this was the only place in atlanta where we could get a Shiatsu massage. Unfortunately on the day of our appointment , the therapist did not show up and we were offered a swedish massage with another therapist. We both declined and left the hotel. Only to find out that our credit card was charged for the massages we never got. more

5 Star Hotel with 5 Star Prices 6/4/2008

The Intercontinental is probably the best hotel in Atlanta (and I've stayed in many). The staff can be stuffy and you still get that corporate Holiday Inn feel sometimes, but overall I would recommend this hotel Pros: Overall Hotel Experience Cons: Prices more
