Where do I start! Dr. Turner is two-faced! During my first few treatments he was very friendly and caring, so I thought. About a month into my care I received an EOB from the insurance company stating Dr. Turner failed to document my problem and care would not be paid for. I called the office and talked to Dr. turner. He stated that since the insurance company would not pay I was responsible, even though I had chiropractic coverage. I told him since the mistake was by his office, and not me I should not be punished. He replied ""well if you do not pay the balance ($1200.00) in 1 week I will have to turn the account over for collections. You do not want to ruin your credit over this."" He added that I signed a form stating I would be held responsible for unpaid services regardless of the reason why it was unpaid. By the way I signed about 10 forms while I was in his office. I asked again if there was anything he could do about the $1200. He said, ""That is office policy, you have 1 week."" A week came and went, I don't have $1200 laying around, I pay $450 a month insurance premiums so I don't have to pay. I called Blue Cross, they could not help. There was no further contact by me or Dr. Turners office. Two months later I get a call fron KC Credit Counselors, he had sent me to collections over his mistake. I am now forced to either pay or get a lawyer to fight, either way it is going to cost me money. \r
To top it all off, the ""treatments"" he gave me were a sham. The little ""clicker"" or actuator he used on my back was useless. I know there are good chiropractors out there, my father swore by them, I just hope I can find one.
Pros: Parking
Cons: Dr. Turner, Billing, Collections
