Instituto Cervantes

Yeah, that's a lie, I've never taken a class there. What I HAVE done is go on a pretty awesome date with a pretty lame guy at an event hosted by this lovely establishment. I mean, it was really awesome, because when I recount the night I still get really dorkily excited and my words trip over each other and if I wore glasses I would be pushing the bridge up my nose with my whole hand. Soooo....yeah, keep an eye on their special events calendar. \r \r I did go by some classes during the intermission and this was like a Wednesday night in the middle of winter, and it was full and everyone in there looked pretty into it, so it can't be that bad..? This review is dumb, but their special events aren't, and that's all the murder she wrote. FIN! more

Studied Spanish in school, and thought I'd brush up with a class at the famous Instituto Cervantes. Beautiful, impressive facilities, but not an outstanding class: just average. Was expecting some 'WOW!' after spending $325 for tuition and $35 for book. I didn't even attend the last 12 of 24 sessions. We spent almost one entire class doing a boardgame style activity from the book that was quite a waste of time! more
