We used to have Time Warner cable, which we loved, but my husband and I recently moved, and we signed up with Insight. They said we would get the promotional package, but when the first bill came, it cost more, and we weren't getting all the channels in HD they said we would. We called customer service, and they said we weren't eligible for the promotional package and those HD channels they told us we would get would now cost extra. They also left the cable above ground, and we asked if they were going to bury it, and they said they lost the work order. They also charged for leasing a modem even though we supplied our own. And, with the DVR, it is really slow. Sometimes the remote freezes and then suddenly flips through dozens of channels at lightning speed. The interface for the menu is bad, too, with an ad every 4th channel you have to flip through. And, if you tell it to record just new episodes of a series, it records every occurrence of that show, filling up all the space in the DVR system immediately. We're very disappointed and are going to try WOW internet and cable. Unfortunately, Time Warner isn't available in our area.
Cons: customer service has a ""nothing we can do about it"" attitude, poor interface, lied about promotional package
