Good: Location, relatively quick.. Bad: Unprofessional, Nurse asked me why I hated Alexandria Hospital as most did, whisked into a chair so quickl,I felt like a hamburger on a fast food line, suspicious drs, untrained in pain, few real doctors only extenders or PAs, when I tried to explain my severe Migraine I was placed in a brightly lit area, pain was dismissed.I have had Migraines for 20 years. I have ER Migraines every 6 mos and had all my history in system and my Neuro name, bad training in pain mgmt, customer service.. Improvements: More professionalism, less extenders, please do not tell patients to return, and then berate us for doing so!!! I had a Dr. literally yell at me for coming back after I had called beforehand to ask the nurse what to do regarding the pain!!! I have no care and had to get someone to take me and was very ill. Inova is very profit motivated I believe. I will not go there again. Virginia Hospital Center is night and day from this horrid place.. Other: This added to my stress level one hundred percent more and I will no longer go here no matter how close it is. I have never seen such a money hungry healthcare system.. more

The healthplex caters to all kinds of health issues. I went to one of the orthopedic surgeons after I broke my shoulder. The staff was okay. Everyone seemed to move slow and didn't return calls in a timely manner. The doctor talked so fast that I had to continuously ask him to 'say that again'. The x-ray equipment was ancient and the facilities were a little old. They treated my shoulder just fine, I just didn't get any other bells and whistles. more
