I don't like Ingles that well. As another reviewer said, even when it's clean, it looks dirty. I do like the prices, though. Frozen food prices are less than other stores. The other store prices on other products are quite competitive. I like going here for sales. If you do coupons, they do triple, but with a lot of limitations that I don't even fool with it. I do recommend this Ingles on North Main in Shelby but with the listed limitations. more

I usually don't go into Ingles because I don't like the store. I don't get that "good" feeling when I go in there. In addition, I feel sometimes the cashiers don't even care if I am there or not. I would rather patronize a store that treats me like I am somebody or at least says HELLO and THANK YOU. I also don't like the inside of the store. I get a "dirty" feeling when I am there, and I have found expired food in there. I don't usually stop there unless I am in the area and need to pick up one or two items. Recommended at a good rating of 3. more

Ingles Supermarkets are not my grocery store of choice. They are usually nasty inside and outside. I get the feeling of being "dirty" when I shop there, so I don't do it anymore unless I am in the area and need something right then. The prices are competitive. I don't like their gimmick of dfoubling coupons (3 for every $10 you buy--what a rip). Sometimes the employees can be really rude, including managers. I don't recommend this store more
