We reserved the Miami City and Everglades tour. When we made the reservation, we were told that since our hotel is in Brickell street, Miami, we need to take a cap from our hotel to be picked up in downtown Holiday Inn.
When we were asked how are we paying, I told them that we are using the Go Miami Card.
The main reason that we are buying the Go Mami Card was becuase we thought the tour itself is worth about $99 dollar, so it makes buying the 3-days Go Miami Card a good deal.
The story goes like this, we called, made the reservation 2 days before hand. The day before out tour, I called again to confirm if there is only one Holiday Inn in downtown, across from Bayside Market Place, and we were told there is only one Holiday Inn, and we had the right one. We were assured that we wil be picked up by 9am this tour company doesn't even closed.
On the morning of Sep/16th, we set the alarm clock and wake up at 6:30 am, gotten ready and had some breakfast in Little Havana. We started waiting for them at 8:30 am inside Holiday Lobby. We are watching closely for every tour bus that come by. At 8:50, I even went outside and waited for them there while my wife gets to wait in the comfort of the air-con zoned.
Come 9:15 am, still no shows, I started calling their 305-865-9999 number. It went straight to voicemail.
I kept calling every 5 minutes. Comes 10 am, I was getting desperate. I even started calling the Go Miami Card. Talked to Brian and try to get his help to track down an alternate number for Infinity Tour.
He put me on hour, and gets back to me about 15 minutes later and told me he is having the same problem. His calls went directly straight to voice mail.
I tried to file a complaint with Go Miami Card, Brain said the complaint will be noted, but there is nothing he can really do about. As for us, he cannot compensate or do anything to comfort us either, since we have not lost any money. It seems like all the sacrifices we made, the times we spent waiting for them them are not worst anything.
I was able to get into all the others attractions with the Go-Miami Card, but I really don't need to be stood up by this worst tour company in Miami - Infinity Tour.
I am speculating that Go-Miami Card may have compensate less than the $99 full price for the tour, that is why there stood us up. There should have just let us know before hand that there cannot honor the tour.
I am so mad, and I hope by sharing my review actually helps you guys for booking the tour. Your should not let know that you are using the Go Miami Card as a method of payment. Don't get stood up !!!
