The company was formed because of the need for an independent Power Transmission Distributor in the Baltimore/DC Metro Area who values and respects customer relationships. This business philosophy has been the foundation of IPT's parent company, Conveyor Handling Company, since it was a "one-man show" in 1974 and has contributed greatly to the company's success.
