my favorite indian food ever! my husband and ihave been going here for years and the food and service is excellent their tikka massala is our favorite they get their spices just right some restaurant if order medium com out very spices in indias tandoori it is just right is their price are right (if that's what you are looking for) and their staff! is super friendly and always smiling soo nice Pros: Fresh ingredient ! If your looking for indian food India's Tandoori\r 19006 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana, CA 91356 \r is not the place. They have the worse food and very bad service.I was sitting donwn for 20 min before someone came and got me a drink. After I order the food it was so watery and too much salt and bad flavor. Best Traditional Indian Food in Los Angeles! HANDS DOWN! 4/4/2009

I have traveled to India on work, and developed an addiction to good Indian food. I have eaten in almost every Indian restaurant in Los Angeles -- certainly all of the ones in the Tarzana/Woodland Hills area of the Valley -- and NONE are as good as India's Tandoori. The team that took over last fall is amazingly friendly, incredible chefs, and have the freshest food available. The tandoori fish is unbelievable. Korma, curry, karhai... all so good I am thinking of getting in my car right now and going myself! Do yourself a favor and try this place once. you will come back again and again! Pros: Fresh ingredients! Breads are delicious! Exceptional staff! Cons: None... except maybe more parking. more

This is amazing restuarent i have ever been to. i went L.A my first time like they had special shrimp bhuna was delicious but it was very spicy.tandoori chicken was great nice and hot when they got it to my plate it was still sizzling it nice and fresh like they say everything they make is fresh. Best Indian food anywhere! 1/21/2008

My husband and I are Indian food fanatics...we try Indian food everywhere and of course have had some of the best Indian food in London. However, India's Tandoori is hands down our favorite. Their chicken tikka masala and their korma are superb, but everything I've had there is divine. The staff are the kindest you'll meet and they are very attentive. If you can't get to London, go to Tarzana! This is the best Indian Food that I have found in the US. I'm addicted to their Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Korma. I never can decide which to get so...I have to get both. I take the rest home and freeze it to eat later! I also love the vegetable samosa. I've taken 3 people here and they all agreed with me - amazing flavor! Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in LA. It's worth a trip to the valley! Pros: The food! Stay Away! Run! 7/31/2006

This has to be the worst indian restaurant I've ever been to. The tandoori chicken was dried and bland. The naan tasted like uncooked bread dough - chewy and no flavor whatsoever. And forget about the appetizers! There may be 6 or 7 items on the menu, but they are really all the same thing. They all turned out to be just different ingredient (i.e. chicken, fish, onion or potatoes) deep-fried in the same batter with a side of runny raita. To top it off, the service was nonexistent! How on earth did they get Zagat-rated!? Pros: No Pros. more

Great Food 10/15/2002

Have you ever had bad Indian food? Personally I have not. I must say this place had the best Indian food I have ever had. I don't know why. My Chicken Masala was sooo good. My friend who came with me is a vegetarian and they had a good selection for her. We also used a coupon from my Entertainment coupon book so the price was really cheap.
