First off, they do not thoroughly clean the apartment homes before the move in. The appliances suck. The light outlets flash green because of the old light switches. I have been shocked from this 4 times as of now. I have been waiting for two weeks now for my mailbox key. The fridge door handle is broken. The thermostat doesn’t work properly. I only had 2 minutes worth of hot water to shower with for the first month I lived here. After finally getting a new water heater, the dishwasher was the next appliance to go. I have a leak that has caused mold to accumulate under the toe kick in the kitchen. The Maintenance man Mike has a nasty; it’s his way or the highway attitude. To get out of fixing the problem, Mike will tell you that the problems are normal, or that it’s just a part of an old apartment and that it doesn’t need to be fixed right now. Just today Mike came into my home to put in the new dishwasher. He complained of having the FLU and I immediately asked him to leave my home and schedule for when he felt better to install it. Mike got very defensive and told me that it’s up to him now when he decided to do work on anything in my home and that if I needed a new dishwasher now I would have to deal with his sickness. The management at this place sucks just as bad. The manager Tracy has a no concern to me attitude. In fact when she and Mike came over to take a look at the broken, filthy dishwasher she was laughing and making jokes the entire time about our concerns over their entering our home without our permission. Mike got loud and shouted he won’t handle being told what day to come over. Per the lease agreement, we as tenants are allowed to ask to be present while maintenance is doing their work as well as a 24 hour notice is to be given from the management before they are to enter the apartment on a non-emergency basis. In addition to this, the district manager Eric Grossel has the same outlook towards the situation. He states that Mike hasn’t ever done any wrong so he can’t see him doing wrong in the future. Then he continues to tell me that my concerns are not of an importance. Eric feels that the FLU isn’t anything to be worried about. I went on to state that I have several family members whom have low immune systems and children who cannot be exposed to the FLU virus unnecessarily. \r
If this apartment complex would do their job and follow the words stated in the lease, then I wouldn’t have to give them a bad review. But that isn’t the situation. Indian Footprints needs to reevaluate themselves. I definitely don’t feel at home in this place and would not recommend moving here. There are much better choices out there. Miamiview in Cleves, Ohio being one. \r
