great fun for all!! 10/7/2005

this is the place to take the kids or even just yourselves for a hike or for family fun. they are always having something going on there. you can go as a group or by yourselves. in the fall they have a weekend of tapping trees for maple syrup and then have a pancake breakfast. there is plenty of things to do at the nature center especially if you have someone that loves the outdoors. more

Local Nature Center 8/7/2005

This is a great local nature center to attend. There are lots of outdoor trails you can either hike on or ride your bike. I have attended during the maple syrup harvest. The employees are more than willing to explain things to you. There is a gift shop in the basement of the barn. They also have some habitat exhibits on display to show you the different ecosystems. more

Nice hiking trails 7/15/2005

This a great little spot for some outdoor activities! There is of course the nature center museum area and gift shop. They are not very large. The true gem is outside. The trails go right past the nature center. You can hike or bike. One trail leads through prairie grass. When our girl scout troop was there last fall, we found an orange spider. It is a wonderful place to spend the day. more

Maple Syrup 7/15/2005

This is a great place to go in the fall to harvest maple syrup. The folks here will help you get started. This is a great activity for the entire family. Or if you do not want to do the harvesting, you can purchase the syrup that was harvested on the property. There are many activities for youth through adult in every season. more

Family Fun 7/14/2005

This is a great place for a family outing. The kids love the hands on programs for youth. I have taken my Girl Scout troop here. They have programs set up already and the girls will earn particular badges by the time you leave. The employees are awesome!
