We order from this place regularly... it's always delicious. Entrees are a bit expensive, but worth it.

a local favorite 2/23/2006

Although I have been to India Palace multiple times, I have yet to see the place more than 1/4 full. And this surprises me. Because it's great. The food is flavorful. The selection is wide. The service is courteous. The prices are reasonableAnd if you own the entertainment book, you'll get one entree free every time you go (because they don't punch the card). My roommates and I are huge fans of this place, and would love to see more people enjoy this great deal. If you enjoy Indian, I definitely recommend it. more

The best Indian restaurant in Berkeley 8/4/2005

India Palace, located at the intersection of University Av and Shattuck in the hub of Berkeley is possibly the best restaurant in Berkeley. The food is excellent and they have a variety enought to satisfy any palate. Their Lunch buffet at $7.95 is a steal. If you're a student you can get another 10% off. The 'mango lassi' a sweet yogurt based drink is one of their specialties. The service is also very good. A+++! Highly recommended! more
