Nice to look at but very expensive 11/11/2005

There is a lot to look at here. Paintings, blown glass, sculptures, jewelry and more are all featured from local artists. Sticker shock is a real concern here, though. I get the feeling that most prices are negotable. Many of the items are beautiful but I have never seen anyone actually making a purchase. more

Nice Local Gallery 7/25/2005

The In Town Gallery is a Gallery Co-op that highlights regional artists. Members of the Gallery take turns working it so you can meet some of the artists. They have all types of media on display, from painting and photography to sculpture and jewelry. The artists are all unique and the art is varied so there is a lot to see and choose from. Browsers are welcome to take a look without feeling pressured to purchase. They also do an all member show annually, when you can see works displayed by everyone involved. That's a fun event to go to. The gallery is not very big so it only takes a few minutes to go through or you can spend as long as you'd like. Take some time to enjoy the local talent. more
