Greatest burger joint, next to Tommys, real Beef 11/15/2006

Best burgers, great staff, great service, Old town type of burger joint, with simple formula. No discount with the Value Meals, by the way: just separately added. Blast from the past that's perfect. Fries could be fried better, but takes a while to get used to. Burgers are rated at a 10 ! more

The food is better than the locale 11/1/2006

This is one of the more run-down In-N-Outs I've been to. There's no dining room so you're either forced to eat in your car or hope it's not a cold night for the outdoor patio. In-N-Out has always been one of my favorite places to get a burger, and the food's just what I'd expect: the top-of-the-line for fast food. But the neighborhood isn't that great and it's a bit far from the freeway. Pros: great burgers, like all In-N-Outs Cons: rundown location, no inside dining room more

    Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.
