Dr. Bouchard is amazing and I would not have the lower back recovery I have today without her. She adjusts the muscles as well as the bones so that they don't just pull my bones back out of alignment. I was hit by a drunk driver and had several dance injuries, so I had a lot of pain. Today I am able to sit in class or on a plane in comfort and without squirming because of her treatments. So grateful. more

I have been going to Dr. Bouchard practice for 8 years. My job involves a lot of sitting in front of a computer, and a friend recommended finding a chiropractor. Dr Bouchard helped me with the pain in lower back, and with simple preventive directions. Several people from my business area, who did not follow this advice ended up replacing vertebrates surgically, and still lost their nice-paying jobs during the financial crisis. Hmm... \r \r I also want to mention excellent financial management skills (from patient's perspective) of Dr. Bouchard, claims processing always works fine for her and Nika, and she would not unnecessarily let her patients run over insurance's limit of visits. You learn importance of this when a doctor you think highly off presents you with a surprise bill around New Years for over-allotted visits. All holiday seasons we have pleasant conversation during visits, as she is very personable, as mentioned in other reviews which there is no need to repeat.\r \r Bottom line, highly recommend Dr. Bouchard, she is the best chiropractor in Mahnattan! more

I have been going to Dr. Bouchard off and on for over 10 years. I first went to her for major lower back pain and headaches after seeing other chiropractor that didn't help. She cured me though with her magic hands. More recently she has helped me through two pregnancies. The first one I could barely walk until I started seeing her again and of course, she made the pain all but disappear. I saw her throughout the second pregnancy and as a result had no back pain at all. She is a wonderful chiropractor and an amazing woman. She is friendly and supportive as is her staff. All of my friends who have gone to her love her too! more

I can say unequivocally, that Dr. Bouchard has the best instincts of any chiropractor I've ever worked with or been treated by. She is gifted with an incredible sense of ""where to go"" on the body to relieve pain and release tightness, as well as an ability to realign areas that have become imbalanced. As an Acupuncturist that also does body work, I have both been treated by Dr. Bouchard, and referred my patients to her for additional adjustment. She has always responded with great and co-operative care, while sharing her views with regard to the patient's status. Her years of experience inspire confidence and allow her patients to relax and put their trust in her capable hands as she moves through a session confidently. Couldn't recommend her more!! more

Dr. Bouchard knows instinctively what areas need to be addressed simply by asking questions of her patients. She has a keen sense of touch and her strong hands zone right in on the problem areas. I really like that the appointment starts out with an ultrasound treatment by her assistant Nneka to loosen up the muscles. The aesthetically pleasing design as well as the relaxing music playing in the background makes a session at Dr. Bouchard's office seem more like a spa visit then a medical one. more

The best treatment imaginable. Dr. Bouchard actually takes you from a damaged condition back to functioning at full capacity. I can't say enough positive things about this office. They make you better when the whole medical establishment fails. more

I love Michelle Bouchard. \r \r She is so much more than a chiropractor; she is truly a healer, and from reading the other reviews, I can see I am not alone in feeling this way! I've never had an experience where a practitioner was able to feel beyond my physical ailment and treat the personal/emotional/spiritual ailment at the root of the problem. She does so by simply being open to conversation, asking thoughtful questions of her patients and having a keen sense of touch that lets you know she is really tuning into what your body tells her. She maintains a serene work environment, but both she and Nneka, her ultrasound tech, are so friendly and outgoing that you will leave feeling totally rejuvenated and happy like you've just hung out with two dear friends! Over a year ago i had a pain in my shoulders that drove me crazy. After seeing two chiropractors that did absolutely nothing for me. I was treated by Dr. Bouchard and, i must say OMG this lady is truly a healer. As she asked some questions about the pain, her hands knew right where to go amazing. Dr Michelle Bouchard is New York's best chiropractor. If you're in pain, see her before you go to an orthopedist. Instead of prescribing drugs and medical tests, she will probably begin treating you immediately. Be prepared for a doctor who really cares. You will be amazed at how much better you feel when you leave her office. You should see results after one or two sessions. People travel long distances to her office on 21st Street in Manhattan because they know it's really worth the trip. She works wonders with even very severe back and neck pain. She has also helped me through episodes of foot pain, TMJ, and tendonitis. Before I started going to her I was in constant severe pain all over my body. Now that's all in the past. Dr. Bouchard and her staff keep me in good physical condition so that I can pursue an active lifestyle and a physically demanding career. I go in when I feel I need a tune-up because I know that going in sooner will save me weeks of pain and keep me at my best. more

Once I started going to Michelle I never went to see anyone else. Her office is a nice space with a relaxing environment. But more importantly is the care you'll get with her. The staff offers ultrasound treatments which can be very helpful. There are also heat and herbal treatments that work well, and finally there is Michelle herself who seems to have a magical ability to know what is wrong with your body. She's very good at identifying the problem and working to fix it right away. If you are thinking about seeing a chiropractor, you will not regret seeing her. more

Michelle is a real healer. She employs diverse techniques of chiropractic care, massage, ultrasound and more to ensure that you walk out of your session feeling better than when you went in. Appts are not rushed--mine avg 45 min--and both Michelle and her assitant Anika are so very personable. She nows practices at 19, 21st street between 5th and 6th in a very lovely space where you can also get acupunture and related treatments. Enjoy--you won't regret it. -Brian B more
