Best

I only go here for Dim Sum. My advice is to get there around 11:30 am on a saturday. The food is more fresh because they just made it. And some much food rolls out. Authentic Asia...

Worst

Having sampled nearly all the dim sum in the city, the dim sum here is truly very mediocre for Philly. The remainder of the menu, while better than the chinese food at the mall, ...

Great Dining Experience 1/11/2003

I had a great dining experience at Imperial Inn every time. The food was great. I urge everybody to try something different, do not order type of dish you always get at some cheapo take out restaurant (i.e. general tso chicken). Ask for suggestions, you will be amazed by what you are going to get. However, service can indeed be improved. more

good food 11/8/2002

Good food, better Dim Sum, but the best thing is the cheap off-street parking directly across the street. Pros: good parking, dim sum, efficient Cons: no ambience, hard to understand, not overly friendly more

Lousy, Lousy, Lousy 9/4/2002

Food here was very poor. Lo Mein was dry and noodles were gummy. Egg rolls were very greasy. Sauces lacked flavour and depth. Heaven and Earth was not too bad but I would avoid. Seafood was of poor quality and did not taste fresh. Pros: variety on menu, price is ok Cons: poor quality food, low quality seafood more

Don't Waste your Money 9/1/2002

The worst chinese I ever had. We had Lobster Lo Mein that still had the shell on some pieces - We almost broke a tooth. Shrimp & Broccoli was overcooked. Egg roll - try GREASE roll. Don't waste your money. Pros: bar menu Cons: overcooked, flavorless, greasy more

Dim sum heaven 7/30/2002

There are two great tell-tails on great dim sum: the limited number of Occidentals in the room and the pace of replenishment of specific items. Imperial Inn works on both scores. No, the ambience is no more than the typical faux chinese environment, but the place is clean and the service is speedy. Most importantly, the food is well-prepared, diverse, and tasty. more
