I was on the internet and came across this review of Imperial Equestrian Center. According to the review this is not the place to be. I don't think so. I rode there for many years and still stop by to visit my friends and the place looks great if not better. I first started riding many years ago and I owe it all to Shona. As a very green rider I found it difficult to sit straight and stay balanced, with constant encouragement and patient instruction from Shona, I was on my way. At my first show a year and a half later, I got a BLUE ribbon. Wow, can you believe it! She's a great trainer and I learned a great deal from her. Still showing to this day. In regards to the property itself, it's always being upgraded. In the last couple years I've seen grooming racks and barns upgraded. The grass is still green and when I visit with my friends, they let their horses graze together while we catch up on old times. While visiting, my friends tell me about the new footings in arenas and they look really great. On a recent visit, I noticed the turnouts looked bigger and the grounds were really clean. The place looks busier than ever and the management is helpful and nice. Joel has always been really nice to me every time I've visited. A lot of new faces, but the same home feel. If only I was able to move back to the area, I would definitely board here at Imperial Equestrian Center again. This is definitely the place to be! A piece of the country in the middle of the City.
Pros: Clean, friendly boarders and management, and nice arenas
