Imperial Dental Practice And Orthodontics

This dental practice permanantly ruined 3 of my bottom molar teeth in 2007 when I was needing to have crowns put on. The dentist did a horrible job grinding the teeth down so that the crowns would not stay on. I had to report the dentist (who I believe is no longer with this office) to the California Dental Board. I was going to file a law suit against them but fortunately was able to find another dentist to fix the mess and redo all 3 crowns. Unfortuantely, since the new dentist was not covered by my insurance I had to pay out of pocket in the amount of 4,000 for 3 crowns. If the dentist at Imperial Dental had done his job right I would not have had to pay anything. In short this place sucks and don't go there because they will ruin your teeth like they did mine. I would have to agree with the above posters regarding the whole "Car-Salesman" comment. I went here to have a filling replaced that had fallen out ( previous filling done by different Dentist). Once there, I was offered a new, better service over the traditional silver filling. This new filling was called an "Inlay or Onlay", not quite sure which one I got. Well, I ended up having another cavitie that needed to be fixed so an additional Inlay/Onlay was added to my bill with my approval of course. The shocker hit me when I got to the front counter after the procedure and was told how much was due. I owed approximately $1,300 out of pocket after insurance. Little did I know when I accepted the treatment that my insurance did not cover much of this new procedure. I advised I did not have that much cash on had at which time I was set up with a payment plan for the balance owed , which was approximately $650 dollars. I was here for a cleaning in May. The dentist checked my teeth, gave me a prescription of antibiotics and was sent to a different room for my teeth to be cleaned by I think a dental assistant. She put 4 powdered antibiotics on my gums for $60 each on top of the $175 cleaning cost. The antibiotics she put in my gums I apparently did not need because the dentist had already prescribed me antibiotics, so I was totally ripped off. These people are like car sales men, they make you add services that are not necessary. They do have the most advanced technology I have ever seen in a dental clinic but I don't think I will be back here because of the unnecessary additional $240 they charged me, not worth paying so much for the same exact service I could get elsewhere for a much cheaper price.. more

I really like this practice. The people are nice and friendly and are up front with everything. I've never been charged for anything I didn't know about and if I didn't want something done I just told them no without a problem. My daughter got braces through them and when I needed $1000 worth of work done on myself, they took knocked $300 off the price I was to pay and set up a payment plan since I had been making the payments on the braces. more

This dentist office put our family through hell - daughter fell and injured her teeth, we took her in, they checked her out, and than after we left they call child services on us! We get investigated, had to get a full report from our Dr to get cleared. What a nightmare, worrying that our kids were going get get taken from us for a simple accident! more

This dental office is out for one thing and that is your money!! My husband was charged $1255.00 for a 30-minute cleaning that he was misled into receiving. His teeth are worse off now than before he went to this rip-off establishment!! more

Well If you want good dentist this is the place to go but Make sure you only pay cash and per job as they will rip you off and do not let the 5 assistance help or you will never leave! This is the used car sales people of the dental world and are know in yucaipa for their tacticsvery friendly and smile while they bill you unauthorized charges and If asked to repair the problem they seem so helpful then you do not hear from them again!I would recommend you use any one else unless you just feel good donating to the imperial dental group ! more
