I made a terrible mistake buying from IMPEL 2 refrigerators . I live outside the US and I bought two ""new"" refrigerators . When they arrived , there was a new one and a floor sample , with broken sealed and pre-assemble inside, with problems in its performance from the start. This is not a matter of warranty but a consumer's protection of receiving the ""exact item purchased for what it is paid and fully charged"". Consumers are protected (not as any favor but legally) no matter where they live, since purchase and delivery was done all in the state of Florida.
I contacted them and send the pictures and the claim from day one , and at the beginning and they promised to help me but then they stopped answering emails and phone calls and then they told me that my refrigerators were not under any warranty ( I was never warned in any verbal nor written form from IMPEL that these productswould loose all warranty (nor I could read anything on any documentation given to me at time of purchase) because I took them outside the US !!!!!
Does that gives them the right to defraud people and take advantage of the people from outside the US ?
The purchase was delivered to an address inside the state of Florida, charged and sold in the state of Florida. Second, and the main reason for my complains is that my purchase involved two new refrigerators, in mint and sealed condition from Manufacturer, and without any PRE-ASSEMBLED and BROKEN SEALS as the one shipped to me.
I do not recommend this people at all unless you want to be defrauded.
