Awesome Place To See Movies 4/13/2006

I went to go see Charlie and the Chocloate factory here, and I must say I would not have liked the movie at all if I hadn't gone to see it here. This theater is amazing, if you haven't seen a IMAX movie you should make a trip. They get a lot of *blockbusters" here now so you can see something that yuo might have seen otherwise. the tickets can be expensive and limited, but well worth a trip. more

Tickets are expensive for rasleigh (around $10) but its worth it to see things on the really really big screen. the staff is nice and the theater is always clean. A wonderful experince everyone should have at least once! more

Fun! 9/15/2005

Most people know what IMAX is and the theaters all have the huge half-dome screen; nevertheless, its still quite an experience when you go. To get your money's worth, you should definitely go for a full-length film (like Star Wars); otherwise the documentary-type shows are only ~45 minutes long. Be prepared, though, for it to be crowded unless you go during the week. more

The IMAX Theatre at Exploris is fantastic. The screens are huge, but that's part of the IMAX experience, right? The seats are large and comfortable. They are very family friendly. We went as a group with our scout troop. They offer discounts for groups. We were able to purchase our tickets in advance. We saw a showing of Polar Express 3D IMAX. It was amazing. All of our scouts enjoyed it and definitely want to go again. more
