Imagine A Hair Studio

Due to time and distance, I havent been able to go to my regular stylest and my hair has looked terrible for MONTHS because I havent been able to find a good replacement stylist. I finally found one! I found Imagine from an online phone directory, and took a chance on an appointment. Janell made sure she understood exactly what I wanted and did a WONDERFUL job! The salon is comfortable and inviting, the girls all get along, and the atmosphere is fun, yet professional. I couldn't be more pleased. more

I used to live in Broomfield so it was easy. Now I've moved to Frederick 28 miles away and still drive to see the only person allowed to touch my hair. Joyce has done an amazing job for many years and I'll never let the ""franchise salons"" butcher my hair again..thanks Joyce....and Randy for so many years of amazing haircuts.. more

Just got back from Imagine. Loved the casual atmosphere and welcoming, chatty staff. Irene did my eyebrows. She did a great job and she's so upbeat about her work. Joyce also did a great job cutting my short hair. I had ridden my bike to the shop and Joyce greeted me with a tall glass of water. I was glad that the shop wasn't so ""fru-fru"" that I would feel intimidated in bike shorts. Indeed, it felt very comfortable with the staff being friendly and yet professional. I recently moved to Broomfield and am glad to find a salon that I like. I've already made my next appointment. more

Irene is great at listening to my needs: no fuss, wash and go hairstyle...and turning it into a fantastic hairstyle! I have had more compliments on my hair since Irene started styling it. more

I went to Imagine and Amy Antoine gave me a fabulous new do! She gave me just what I wanted and added her own special touch to create something unique. I have recommended her to my friends and family and everyone has been thrilled with her work! more

For those of you looking for Jamie or Emily, I found them. They are in a cute little studio at the Orchard mall!!!!!!!! I was so sad when they left, When I called to make an appointment the people at imagine told me they left and would not tell me where they went, so I searched until I found them. Jenell has ben cutting my hair 3-4 years now. She has become one of my most favorite people! She listens well, asks questions and tries her hardest to give you what you want. There are many times when I couldn't sufficiently explain what I wanted or even knew what I was looking for. Jenell is always attentive, full of helpful suggestions specific to my needs, and very willing to tweak things for me later if I feel I didn't get what I was looking for, which is extremely rare when she is cutting my hair!\r I have 4 teen agers (12, 13, 14, 16) in my home that I take to Jenell. It can be difficult to understand what they are looking for in a hair style and challenging to please them, but Jenell is always patient and kind and engouraging and willing to see them again in a few days if they are not totally satisfied with what they get. Which hardly ever happens!\r Jenell is a rare stylist! I have found few that match her pazzaz, friendliness, and skill in the 25 years I have been getting my hair cut on my own. If you take the time to explore what you want and work at explaining and asking questions I don't see how one could go wrong in choosing Jennell for a stylist. Since Jenell has been cutting my hair I get asked several times a week, ""Who cuts your hair!"" Never have I had that ecperience and I will miss her and the beautiful hair she creates for me when I move away. Good luck to you Jennell! I have had Jenell cut and color my hair for over 2 years. She does an excellent job. I highly recommend her. I now have friends and coworkers come up from Pueblo to get their hair done. so I dont normally do this but i have never had such a bad cut in my life!!!! I had Janell cut my hair about 3 months ago and it was horriable!!! i new it was bad when i left but i just tried to deal with it because its hair and it will grow back.....right (weve all been there at some point) but i just messed with it every day and there were some mornings i would be in tears because it looked so bad and was not at all what i asked for So just the other day i went to another shop hopeing to get it fixed and my new hairdresser could not belive how messed up my hair was!! she said there were random holes in my layers like she took a razor to my hair and the bottom wasnt even cut straight grrrrrr i knew i wasnt going crazy this was a mess!! she did her best to fix me but i would have to cut really short layers to fix what janell did to me. so just a warning to you all save your selfs while you can!!!! more

My first time in I had Emily do my hair and it was great!! I hate getting my hair cut, i never like what the girls do! My friend told me about this place and I""ll now never go anywere else Iwas looking for a clean up and help with a new style and she was very helpful, giving me great ideas. Most people dont want to take there time doing a mans cut, they rush you in and out. Its not like that here, she took her time and made me feel very importand! check this place out! more

Jenell is AMAZING. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but I think she was so wonderful! \r \r I had to take my 4 year-old daughter (Happy Meal in tow), which is never an ideal thing to do, but Jenell got her a tray table and set her up in a chair next to me. Above and beyond.\r \r On to my hair...I've been looking for someone new to do blonde/light brown hightlights. I've previously tried about everywhere in north Denver with so/so results. Jenell has exceptional listening AND comprehension skills. She understood exactly what I wanted to see (despite my vague description) and knew exactly how to make it happen.\r \r Only after seeing how great my highlight turned out did I dare to ask for a cut (I'm one of those apathetic hair people that would rather have split ends than pay for a bad cut.) She gave me long layers for volume without losing length. It turned out amazing!\r \r Super-happy! I will definitely go back to see her.\r \r more

You better make your appointment with Janell! I am glad I walked in she made an apointment for me the very next day for color and highlights. The girl she just finished looked amazing and bouncy. Her color was great for her eyes and I dont know if I have ever seen such a pretty red with blond highlights on any one ever! I am super excited and I think I will buy a gift certificate for my sister to come see her! more

Have had Emily do my hair for years now, even followed her from a different salon, and I would not go anywhere else!!! She can always figure out what I am trying to tell her even if i do not explaine it well. so heres the deal......... i walked in to the salon to make an appointment, ive never been there before and i was turned off from the moment i walked in the door! Just here me out! The place is very clean but sooo old fashion! The walls dont match and it just looks plain weird! Then i look around and i see a Trashy Trashy looking girl with pink hair whom i would never let touch me and an old crazy man who wants to make a appontment for me ( not to sure what the old man is doing there, but whatever) she makes me an appointment and i walk out! I was seriouslly thinking about not going in or cancelling cuz of the first impression I got from the salon and the two I talked to!! But I went in and Had Emily do my hair and we had so much fun! She knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel so comfortable like we had been friends for ever! Ill be her client for life! Im so glad I didnt let my first< second and third impression of the salon get to me! Im going to tell all my friends about her! and you should too! more

I am a senior in high school and I needed to get my hair done for prom a few weeks ago. I googled and this place came up I wish I could remember the girl who did my hair but let me tell you. OMG!!!!!!! she did exacually what I wanted and while I was getting my hair done I got a soda and a hand parafin dip. I was so ""pamperd"" asmy mom would say. I was so afrid that at prom not only would some one have my same dress but also the same kind of hair. No way mine was original. This is bomb place to go and I am going back for some color soon as school gets out becasue all the chicks in the salon had really cool highlight and they all looked different. I am so glad I went you gotta try this place. Pros: GOT SPOILED more

I don't know what that other person who wrote a review was talking about. This place is so not an old lady shop. I was unsure to go get my hair cut hair so I stoped in to check out the place first. I went in on Saturady and was greeted by 3young girls and liked what I saw . I made an appointment and looked around the shop a little more and saw 2 more girls, still very young! These girls we so fun with make up and colored stylish hair. But the were so professonal and not over the top. Go to this place if you like fun!!! (Don't take your boys or hubby these girls are pretty!!!) JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!! Pros: what a fun place more

I had a friend who referred me to this salon. I needed a hair cut And I am very picky about who cuts and styles my hair. I am in sales and need to look as professional as possible. I spoke to the receptionist and she gave me an appointment with Jenell. I was impressed with the energy and vitality in the shop. Everyone seemed to be happy and talking to everyone else--a distinct change of pace from any other salon I've been to before. Jenell took the time to talk to me and find out exactly what I needed and proceeded to cut and style my hair in a innovative and professional look. It was exactly what I wanted. The last cut I got at Fantastic Sams was MUCH better. Jannell didn't spend much time on the cut, didn't listen to what I really wanted, and didn't seem to take much pride in her work-my hair, which was chopped off, has no shape or movement. I won't ever go back there again; this is NOT a true salon. I should feel like a million bucks, but instead I feel like I just need to get this cut fixed. So I've had Jamie doing my hair for about 3 years now and have loved everything that she has done. She is very understanding and patient with me, which i need because i can be kind off a freak about my hair and she gets it right every time!!!! About 2 months ago i was going out of town and needed my hair done that day and she was off so she told me to go to her friend Emily ( i was so nervious because no one has touched my hair but jamie) i decided to trust her and have Emily do my color and cut and I loved it sooo much!!!! I cant believe I found a place with 2 amazing girls!!!! Trust me visit them and you wont be disappointed!!!! Pros: Jamie and Emily are the best stylist around!!!!!!! more
