I came across the reviews here as I was searching for a map of IL Tiramisu to email a business associate and was compelled to write a review. Why, since I've been going there for about 12 years, regularly. I often have to offer up a place to meet for a lunch meeting and IL Tiramisu is the only place a go or take someone for business or pleasure. I also often take friends there for an event or their birthday. Each and everyone I've ever taken there have made it there favorite restaurant, hands down. From the cozy atmosphere, to the unbelievable service from the moment you arrive until you walk out the door. Oh the food! The glorious food. All completely home made and never a bad dish on the menu or the specials of the day. Ivo or Peter will most likely come by your table to check on you or chat for a moment, not in the annoying way that happens, it's like a welcomed guest who just walked by. You can't help but fall in love with them, but only after they have already fallen in love with you first. The owners are expertly on-hands in and out of the kitchen. This is what a restaurant should be from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. If you bring a guest, prepare yourself to have a conversation about it later, it always happens to me, and then they bring a friend and so on. That's why this little restaurant is the best kept secret in the Valley. \r
Extremely reasonable prices and the quality and taste of the food makes you wonder why your not paying double the menu price. That's probably because everything is fresh and homemade there daily.\r
I've actually driven there (35 miles round trip) to pick up 2 bowls of their Minestrone soup (to die for) To-Go when I was ill once, I call it a bowl of penicillin. Their soups are fabulous and made fresh each morning.\r
I can't recommend any other restaurant here or abroad that is a great as this. The Bad: There really isn't any, other than their hours and they're closed on Mondays. I guess they need a day off too.
Pros: Great from beginning to end. Great prices and value.
Cons: Closed on Mondays, sad for all of us.
