The ambience is nice, however the service is usually terrible. I have eaten here 3 times, and I honestly don't see what the big deal is. The food is mediocre, with exception to the pizza which is decent. The waitstaff is hit or miss. I respect the fact that they don't have alcohol and its BYOB, however our server charged our entire party a ""corking"" feeper person for beer that we bought across the street. The beer was twist off, so that was pretty ridiculous. On top of that she was very cold. I'd go somewhere else. more

  • Denese and Nicholas Colangelo opened their doors in October of 2007. Continuing a legacy of great Italian dining in the Strip Colangelo's is a family business full of experience. Thirty years of baking for Nicholas complimented by Denese's 15 plus years of traditional Italian culinary expertise make this small, airy bistro not to be missed. The scratch-made pizza, pasta, salads, soups, sandwiches and pastries are all freshly prepared with ingredients from other Strip District merchants.

When was your last great meal?

Stop by and place an order.

Have a seat outside or stand and enjoy your meal with a view from the window. If you're in a hurry or don't feel like cooking at home, get take-out or try calling ahead so the food is ready when you get there. Just don't forget the cash, because Colangelo's doesn't accept credit cards.

    See you soon.
