my favorite local spot 5/4/2011

we love this place, we eat here at least twice a week. its like going to family to have dinner. everything on the menu is great, but my favorite is chicken cutlet alla arugula. i also love the pasta fagioli when i'm sick. seriously, this is such a great place, clean and friendly staff, always a good meal and good friends. more

Franklin Square's BEST! 4/17/2011

Il Cantone Cafe has been around for a little over four years now and I cant think of another place I enjoy eating at more than here. With genuine Italian music always playing its hard not to lose yourself in one of the many wounderful dishes this place has to offer. My personal favorite has to be the pasta alla vodka. The staff is second to none with the wait staff always being so friendly. When it comes down to it, if your looking for a new restaurant to enjoy with your family or an intimate dinner with that specail someone, Il Cantone Cafe is the place to be. more

Il Cantone is a true hidden gem located on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square. As a pizzeria and restaurant, the quality and preparation of food is like no other found on Long Island. We eat out quite often and we can honestly say that Il Cantone's dishes are far better than just about any of the expensive (or not-so-expensive) restaurants here on Long Island or Brooklyn or Queens. In addition, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. more
