Great little place 10/17/2007

I ate at Il Camino a few times when living in Leominster, it was always a great experience. Their lasagna is simply to die for, I can't order it anywhere else anymore, it's fantastic! It's a cute little place with several different rooms to dine in. It's definitely got the small family owned homestyle atmosphere rather than something large and fancy or a chain restaurant. Their Tiramisu is also very good and served in little coffee cups! They offer several types of HOMEMADE pasta which is always great! Definitely check it out if you're looking for something a bit off the beaten path. I personally prefer it to any of the other independent Italian restaurants in town (and there's a good few!). more

Excellent Food, Poor Service 7/11/2007

The food is always EXCELLENT, and the chicken picatta is the absolute best in this area. The waitstaff most always leaves a bit to be desired (at times just short of rude) and not much in the way of atmosphere. We tend to do take out and eat it at home. more

Il Camino...a nice local restaurant. 9/28/2005

Il Camino is kind of a "blast from the past" type of restaurant, which is unique because there are fewer local restaurants and more chain restaurants around these days. Last time I was there, they still didn't accept credit cards! I have been probably five times and have ordered the same dish every time, so I can only speak of that one dish, but it is awesome! Chicken Picatta is one of their house specialties. It is not a lemon caper sauce like many other restaurants. Rather, it is a butter sauce on a thinly breaded and fried filet of chicken. I have it with gnocchis on the side. The atmosphere is retro, but I do recommend the chicken picatta. more
