First, how to tell if a review is fake. 1. If it's a rave review with no negatives be suspicious. 2. Click on the reviewer, check the number of reviews. If the reviewer has only reviewed one location-- and it's a rave. The review is fake. This review is real.
The food was GREAT. Not typically Italian, (they had falafel, for God's sake!) but everything with Italian flare. We originally went there for the Zeppole. But we stayed for the pasta. NOT OVERCOOKED, for once.! And it was prepared in an amazing combination of non-tomato based sauces. Christie had something pork. I don't remember what the others had. I had something like Piccarate... no meat, but succulent just the same. Prices were a bit high for the portions, but I guess it was due to the quality of the ingredients.
Our waiter, Antonio Leone, was a giant among men... at least a giant among waiters. His suggestions were perfect and he was friendlier than a puppy. Despite our poor showing (there were only four of us), Jacquelin, the manager, came through with a 10% discount, just because we were Eat Club, and And our hostess? Hubba hubba! She came through with ample assets. What else could you want?
