We had a horrible experience at this restraunt tonight.\r
We simply ordered two adult meals of eggs and pancakes - no big deal, right? Our meals did not come for at least 25 minutes - no kidding! Meanwhile, our 1-year-old and 3-year-old were both jumping out of their skins because they were hungry. No waitress to be seen.\r
\r
When she did bring our meals, I asked what took so long, and she replied that the two cooks were fighting! Seriously?!?!? Grow up people!\r
\r
She said, ""Don't worry about it, your food will be o.k."" as if their fight might effect the integrity of our meal. \r

I asked to speak to the manager, but he did not arrive at our table for 15 minutes. I explained my displeasure - basically that it is stressful to entertain 2 small children for 25 minutes with no food. He seemed annoyed that I had called him out of the kitchen to tell him this. Apparently irritated, he agreed to comp one of our meals, which was a total waste because we had a coupon to buy one meal get one free anyway. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she said she'd ask the manager, but then, she returned and gave my coupon back to me saying, ""You can give this to a friend."" Really? Who would I want to curse with such a bad experience.\r

Shame on you Twin Falls IHOP. If I wanted a stressful evening, I could stay home and do all the cooking myself. There is a Perkins and a Shari's less than a mile south on Blue Lakes Drive. If you are looking for a casual meal, pick one of these instead!
