Great Customer Service starting with the Greeting. I love my hairstylist Lauren Lynn. I trust her judgment. She has taken the time to get to know me, my wants, what works and what doesn't. Lauren Lynn is the 'first' stylist I have ever had that I am completely trusting in. I will continue to visit IHLOFF for the excellent customer service. I will be honored to have Lauren Lynn as my stylist, always. more

You don't get what you ask for 1/3/2011

The past several times I have been to Ihloff I have explained clearly what I want out of my appointment and the end result is never what I asked for. I always have to come back and have the color done a second time. I brought in a picture a few days ago of a bright auburn color I wanted. My hair came out dark. The stylist did not offer to re-do it and was rushing me out because her helper had her next client in the shampoo bowl. She knew I was not happy but didn't care. She just said maybe next time we can get it to brighter auburn. A few months ago I went to the Utica location to cut my hair very short but the stylist told me it wouldn't look good and talked me out of it so I didn't leave with what I wanted. I later went to a different salon where they cut it how I asked and I love it and that is now where I will continue to go from now on for all my future appointments. I will never go back to Ihloff. more

Long Thick Hair 1/3/2011

Schedulers really need to believe the client who needs x amt of additional time due to length/thickness of hair. There is rarely sufficient time to do everything I want done to my hair. Had to skip a desired haircut when I was there last week. Waiting until next appt now to do that. more

Long a user of Aveda products and salons, IHLOFF is by far my favorite. I always feel comfortable while I'm there and beyond satisfied with my color/cut when I leave. The employees are kind and helpful, the salon is clean and professional and Gianna is the best stylist I've ever worked with. Give her a try!!! more

I've been one of Kat's customers for about five years now, and I've never been disappointed. Have been tempted to look elsewhere because of price issues, but can't bring myself to leave her! Sorry, don't have a complaint about anyone/thing. Never have. Thanks! more
