We visited Ignotz with a group of friends on saturday night and had a wonderful time. The owner greeted us with a smile and the atmosphere put a smile on all of our faces. It set the tone for great meal at a good price. I would recommend this spot for good food and a nice evening. Pros: Great service, warm atmosphere, good food Cons: a bit of a wait more

I love their food here - this place is truly a hidden gem... really great Italian food. If you ever want to have a cute romantic dinner with that special someone and are in the mood for italian you must go here!! I always go and i'm never dissapointed!! Pros: Great service and food! Spectacular!!! 2/3/2007

We arrived at this restaurant on a Sat night with no reservation and regardless of the restaurant being full of diners , we were given a cocktail and seated within 10 mins. The service ,the food and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. The owner is a proud hands on business gentleman , always very attentive and welcoming . The bartender and waitstaff could pass as old friends , truly a congenial staff. Fresh and plentiful pasta and savory steaks along with decadent desserts make this cozy spot not to be missed in little Italy . The wine list is a carefully selected treat for the diner to choose from . You will feel at home in this cozy place. Pros: Owner , staff, food , ambiance more

I just want to say that the food, service, and everything else is EXCELENT, youll never find any other place in chicago or the USA that tops this place. Very comfortuble settings. Great job!!!!! -Chris more
