A great time for the entire family or a group of friends is to go bowling. A great place to go bowling is at Idle Hour Bowling Lanes in Scranton. They have bumper bowling available for kids. They have cool lighting too. They do also have leagues if you are interested. The hours are pretty decent too. The place is pretty decent as far as cleanliness goes. The rates are good too. Plenty of parking available. more

Nice alley 11/8/2005

There are multiple alleys here to ensure that you will almost always be able to stop in and play without leagues getting in the way. It is open 24 hours! The prices here are average at around $4 per game. The lanes and equipment are well maintained. We've never had problems with equipment malfunctioning like you find at some places. They have touch screens which is convenient. They have plenty of bowling balls to choose from for people of all sizes. There are also pool tables, video games and a snack bar. more

GREAT place to take the family 9/12/2005

Wondeful place to bowl, with rock-n-bowl on sat. nights. They also have a nice bar seperated from the bowling for the adults with darts and music etc. There is a seperate room as well for billiards. The score keeping is automated so it is great for the kids. and the best part of all, it never closes, its open 24 hours. I think they even have babysitting for leagues. more
