I don't do alot of this review thing but I came from Dana Point, CA. A beach town in So. Cal. Been in Reno now for about 10 years and came to accept Sushi just isn't that great ...

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Best Japanese food I've ever had. I was a little worried about eating here because of the price but it was definitely worth it. I'll be back very soon!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Way better than Benihana, and I like Benihana. The chef was very good and the Kobe steak and shrimp was soooo good. You must upgrade to the fried rice. more

Husband and I Came with our 10 yr old for New Years and they had a set menu. Food was delicious, chef was skilled and entertaining and service was great! Will definitely come back. Try the fried rice which they are known for, delish! more

I cannot describe to you in words what a great sushi chef vinny is . !! Does a great job and the service is outstanding. I would totally recommend sushi lovers here I doubt you'll be able to find another stake/sushi bar in reno like this one ! !. more

Great group atmosphere. I went here yesterday with several co-workers to celebrate closing a major deal and not only was to food delicious but the entertainment was fantastic! Our chef even managed to catch the shrimp in his hat! more

My wife and I went there to eat and we were very pleasantly surprised!! The service was a++ and we loved the food and the atmosphere. If you want a small very cozy place for some great sushi this is it. more

Wow great food and great show. Fried rice extra garlic is where it's at. Best fried rice on the planet. We ordered a filet mignon/chicken and a chicken/shrimp and both were amazing. Manny is a great chef and put on a phenomenal show. Our server Kirsten was also awesome. Thanks! more

Great sushi here I've been to others sushi bar and haven't tasted sushi like this one. I recommend you have vinney serve you great customer service!! .if u ever visit here you need to try the mussels vinney makes there definitely the best!! more

Had an amazing meal with Chef Manny and Megan as our waitress for a birthday celebration. Every time we have dinner here the experience is a little different and better! This time we had folks from other tables asking if Manny could serve them, while he was doing our show...that should tell management something!! The pair of Manny and Megan is far better than any other chef/waitress pairing we've experienced, it really makes the total experience better. more

Make sure to ask for Vinny. Dont even order, just ask for Vinny's chef specials. Amazing! He works mon, tues, friday - sunday. Holly will be your waitress. She is amazing too! more

Eat at the sushi bar, and if you do ask for vinny! He happens to be my favorite sushi chef.\r From being the only sushi chef working on a Monday night the place was packed. He managed to serve 17 people at one time and did such a tremendous job. His sushi is seriously ""the bomb"". more

I love this place. Anytime one of my friends or I has a birthday, we're here. The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the chefs are entertaining. Manny was our chef, and I'm definitely going to request him next time I'm here. He made our dinner so much fun! more
