Greatest service 1/28/2016

Ibbotson's Heating Company's service has been fantastic, so I can't tell you about anyone else because they are the greatest. We have had three homes in Mount Prospect during 50 years. I started working with the grandfather, then the father, and then Ralph and Richard. They are very good on their prices, and we just had a new air conditioning unit installed. No one came close to them on the price for the same exact unit. I wouldn't recommend anyone but Ibbotson's in Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights. more

We had Ibbotson's out to replace our furnace and air conditioning. They were very professional and we were VERY happy with our experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to work with an honest and trustworthy company. more

Great Service 4/3/2015

Steve, John and Dave did a great job installing my new HVAC. When the ac unit came and I didn't like the size (too big) Ibbotson didn't complain and got me a different compressor. I'm sticking with these guys. more

3 Strikes, You're Out. 2/15/2015

We were a loyal customer and always found their service and work to be great, but no more. Didn't take care of both items on the first service call even though we'd been promised they would, with two different items on the second call they still didn't get it right meaning I had to wait around for the visit from the sales person (time away from work on a weekday), only to have them NEVER deliver the promised estimate or recommendations. 3 strikes, you're out. We will be working with a different, more responsive and responsible service. more

Could not have been more pleased 5/11/2014

Scheduled a Lennox AC unite to replace an old one that died. They came on time, the price was very competitive. The installers were professional. What was most important, they pointed out five errors made when "another company" had installed a new furnace a couple of years ago. They not only corrected the mistakes, which could have caused serious problems, but they didn't charge us for them. It took them two hours to make these corrections. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Great workmanship and professional advise 7/25/2013

Ibbotson Heating Company came in and replaced both of my service units (heating and A/C). They were kind enough and smart enough to advise me on the cost difference on the different models and the long term tax credit for high efficiency models. They find you the best system for your needs and their work is very clean. Everything looks nice and there are no dents or dings or scratches-it is all very good workmanship. They are really nice guys too! more

Consistent quality and good service. 7/24/2013

We've been using Ibbotson Heating Company for over thirty years since we've lived here. We use them for our heating and air conditioning, annual cleanings, and recently had them replace a furnace and air conditioner. Their service pleases us. I think just recommending them says a lot. more

We use Ibbotson Heating Company for all of our air conditioning and heating. We bought our furnace and air conditioner from them. They have always given us great service and prompt service. We've lived here for 37 years and used them for most of that time. They are an honest, dependable company with competitive pricing. You can be very confident in dealing with them. more

I found the service to be efficient, accurate, and the people to be pleasant to deal with. 6/6/2012

Ibbotson Heating Company have been coming for years to repair my boiler. I had to replace it this year, and the workmanship was great. The people that came were polite, cleaned afterwards, and made sure to come back and continue to tweak it until it was all set up. Really, I have no complaints. more

Customer Friendly Technicians 5/17/2005

The technician was friendly, on-time and educational. When my furnace broke down, I wanted to understand why it broke and how I could prevent a similiar problem in the future. In order to accomplish this, I stood looking over the technician's shoulder the entire time he was working and asked many questions. This would probably unnerve many a technician, however, the Ibbotson rep was very patient with me. He explained what he was looking for/doing and once he found the problem he told me what to do proactively to keep it from happening in the future. more
