Enjoyable place, affordable prices. 3/24/2006

I've always enjoy going to IKEA, especially this particular one in Covina. The only time I don't enjoy going here is the day after Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, IKEA stores are always an experience as their showroom are nicely displayed with every information provided about their products. Their staff are always available if there are any questions. I usually dine at their bistro restaurant. Their $0.99 breakfast can't get any better. Their Swedish meatballs, open-faced sandwiches, and apple dessert are worth checking out. On the subject of checking out, their check out line is s-s-slow, so it's nice to get their $1 yogurt ice creams while your partner wait in line. more

Great Furnitures! 3/23/2006

I like Ikea, I think they have some of the greatest furnitures around! I like the style of their furniture. I think they are simple, unique, stylish, and they have very good prices especially when they are on sale! There second floor is a show room where they display most of their furnitures so you can see how they look before you go down stairs to grab the box. Downstairs they not only have a warehouse look like stuff, they also sell small items that you might need in your home. Assembly Required for most furnitures. more

  • In Short
Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. With patrons ranging from groups of freshmen students looking to outfit their tiny dorms to entire families, the store offers a huge repertory of styles, patterns and colors for every unique taste. And speaking of tastes, the small restaurant just beyond the cashiers serves up traditional Swedish fare for those who worked up an appetite.
