IHOP

My wife and I opted to have breakfast at the IHOP at 11613 Bandera Rd. on Jan 2, 2007 about 8:30 am. We found the restaurant dirty. The floors were not swept. In full view of some tables, trash under the food window looked like a garbage dump. There were plastic bags, half and half containers, cups and general dirt underneath. My wife found the lady's restroom filthy and water standing on the floor. Service was slow when we had it. We had to ask for items several times. The coffee was warm, eggs were cold to tepid and refills came after asking the manager for them. The waitress said she went on break and asked other staff to care for us which didn't happen. The manager was as disinterested in our needs as the wait staff. Ultimately, our bill was cut by $4.00 for the inconvenience. WHOOPEEEE!! more

This IHOP is generally a good place as they have adequate service and food. I used my coupon for buy one get one free meals here that are from the Entertainment Book. They are really nice about me using those so that is why I return here often. Other IHOPs are not so friendly when I use coupons so I generally avoid them and write bad reviews about those places on this website. I really like their pancakes as you can put various kinds of syrup on them. They have 24 hr service so go anytime! more
