We went to ihope one morning as we didn't feel like making breakfast and never been there before and we were not impressed. Their food was just ok, about the only thing that tasted normal was their pancakes. We drool over their comercials but really it isn't like that in person. more

Very overrated 4/3/2006

I have not been pleased with IHOP. Once was recently opened in my area and my kids wanted to eat there. We went, despite my memories of it being not so good. The restaurant was clean and the service was good, but the food was terrible. I find it really hard to screw up breakfast, but they always seem to find a way here. I have no idea why people eat here. The food is really generic tasting and the prices are not good for this type of food. I will not return here to give them another chance. more

Not Impressed 3/29/2006

I recently went to IHOP with some family members. I was not at all impressed. My son ordered from the children's menu, which was very expensive. His french toast was not grilled long enough and the bacon was charred. I ordered biscuits and gravy and they were cold and had no sausage in the gravy. The service was not good and you have to wait awhile to be seated to pay too much for a meal. more
